From onboarding to individual continuous development and in-service training: Lifelong learning is a top priority at KWS. Our HR department offers new and long-serving colleagues tools tailored to their needs.

The world of work is becoming more complex, not least the digital transformation is bringing about rapid changes. The importance of lifelong learning is thus increasing. KWS provides all colleagues with customized learning tools. The programs are initially available in German and English and will be expanded to other languages in the future.

A warm welcome: Our onboarding platform

KWS is there to support you from your first day at work. In addition to the individual onboarding that colleagues need for their individual work at KWS, which usually takes place in their team, KWS offers a digital onboarding platform.

On this platform, our colleagues learn everything about the organizational forms, structure and topics of KWS, the content on the KWS brand and the values of our company.

Short, animated videos on all divisions and business units explain clearly and holistically how KWS is structured and which topics are important. The platform provides a quick overview of all relevant areas.

Lifelong Learning: LinkedIn Learning

16,000 pieces of content in seven languages in the areas of business, creativity, and technology: that's LinkedIn Learning. Whether it's a short tutorial or an online course, every colleague can choose the learning module that suits his or her needs and time budget.

  • For example:
  • Dealing with Excel spreadsheets or PowerPoint
  • Project or self management
  • Questions around career, individual development and leadership
  • Advice on body language and appearance during presentations and video conferences

If a LinkedIn learning course is approved by the supervisor as further training, this content can be accessed during working hours; but after work, colleagues can also use the tool privately.

Continuous development: SuccessFactors Learning

SuccessFactors Learning covers the full range of internal training offerings, from new colleague onboarding to mandatory instructions, language or IT skills, and leadership development. In addition, SuccessFactors Learning is a central tool that leads to all other learning and onboarding content.

Via an individual start page, everyone can book, manage and recommend training offers to their colleagues at SuccessFactors Learning and complete entire training modules digitally.

Additional advantage: Users have an overview of all completed and future training measures and build up a continuous and individual learning history

And supervisors are also on board. For example, they can recommend specific training opportunities as part of their annual reviews and keep an eye on the training progress of their colleagues.
